[EVENT] 2023 - Women through the Ages: Roles, Rituals, and Research through the Lenses of Archaeological Sciences (EAA Session)

Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to invite you to submit a contribution for session 834 “Women through the Ages: Roles, Rituals, and Research through the Lenses of Archaeological Sciences” at the 30th European Association of Archaeologists Annual Meeting that will take place in Rome, Italy (28 - 31 August 2024).

During this session, we would like to discuss the interdisciplinary approaches used to study women in the past and, in particular, how bioarchaeological methodologies are helping us remove biases from the interpretations.

Some general information on the Conference:

It will be possible to attend the Annual Meeting both onsite and online. This year, it will only be possible to submit abstracts for oral presentations within a particular session. Abstracts for poster presentations, instead, have to be submitted to Annual Meeting Themes, which you can find here. It will be possible to re-submit abstracts not accepted for oral presentations as posters.

You can submit your abstract for an oral contribution via the following link: https://submissions.e-a-a.org/eaa2024/. Abstracts must be between 150 and 300 words and should contain 3 to 6 keywords. Abstracts can be submitted until 8 February 2024.
