The Distinguished Article Award is awarded by the International Society for Biomolecular Archaeology for the best research article on the topic of biomolecular archaeology. The award is made to the first author and corresponding authors of the article.
- All peer-reviewed articles published within the 25 months prior to the ISBA meeting are eligible
- At least one author of the article must be a member of the society.
- Authors are encouraged to nominate their own articles, but nominations of articles by others are also welcome.
- Articles by authors with close associations to members of the prize committee are not eligible.
The Outstanding Publication Student Prize is presented at the biennial ISBA meeting during the closing session. The judging commitee will be the key notes speakers, invited speakers, and conference organisers of ISBA10.
